For me they won't be replacing plug in Christmas lights but they're perfect for hard to get power to spots like trees in the middle of the yard. Fairly good battery life too mabey 6 or 7 hours so far.I bought these lights to deter raccoons from climbing a tree in my yard. The solar panels are small and easy to install. The lights provide at least 12 hours of light in three different modes. I use fast twinkling and the lights do not disturb me or my neighbors. To install I suggest you wrap the wire around the solar panel, then as you uncoil wrap the wire down the tree. Finally stick the spike in a location that catches a lot of sunlight.Love them. Our house gets sun from sunup to sundown. I bought these to replace old ones that the solar part got messed up by weather. Hopefully these last longer than the ones I bought before, those only lasted 6 months. Update: I need to buy another set only because the outside cats thought the one end was a chew toy. The lights are so pretty, where I have them it looks like a small pond from the road.The product was easy to install. They are bright with enough charge they shine until morning. Good deal as far as pricingEasy to install and work well. I used two thing of lights to get the desired effect. Over all I’m satisfied and they are pretty at night.
