The light teal blue color of this light is calm and beautiful. However, the light is slightly fainter and less bright than I'd like it to be. It's not quite as vivid as some of my other colors. The size of the whole light is pretty tiny, just like its other counterparts. The length of the whole light measures from the tip of my thumb to about the center of it. My hands are very small and petite. It's fine for its purpose, but I've realized that waterproof flameless lights are a pain to deal with, in general. They always pop apart and don't screw on straight, or sometimes go out without warning. There's an odd science to it, and it's not always reliable. Not just the teal blue, but the other colors as well. I only bought waterproof ones just in case I decided to use them with water beads. But I would prefer the regular ones. I just continue to get waterproof ones just in case water comes into the picture. This way I'm prepares.Anyway, compared to the picture, the lights I received look similar, but slightly dimmer. They don't emanate a lot of light. I don't regreat buying these. I believe most people would generally be happy with the purchase. Especially if you like teal-blue colors.☆Just remember, to turn on each light:Hold the light facing up. Untwist the 2 parts counter-clockwise.Remove the white plastic disc on top of the batteries.Carefully screw the top and bottom back together, and it should light up.Sometimes, if the light doesn't seem to be turning on, it's probably because it wasn't perfectly lined up when you screwed it back together. In fact, it seems inevitable that sometimes you'll screw it on crooked. There is a lot of pressure popping out from inside with the wire and batteries, so it can happen easily. I can't always screw it together correctly the first time around.Sometimes, if I screw it together too tightly, the light doesn't turn off until I unscrew it a little. If you're not planning to use these around water, there's really no need to go through the trouble. It's annoying. Buy regular ones.Otherwise, there isn't any major problem with these, so go for it. It may just take up a bit more time to turn on and off every time, rather than a simple switch.Dislikes: not very bright, some died after first use, died after 4 hours of use, are the batteries replaceable. Please send back answers. Thanks.I purchased these lights to go under some glass marbles in a floral vase for an evening event. When I opened the package and turned one, nothing happened. Tried several more, still nothing. There are little black plastic circles between the battery that you need to remove before the lights will work. I like this as it keeps the lights off when not in use if ever they were to turn to the on position by accident.Once you remove those, the lights work great. They are very bright, true to the color in the picture (I ordered the white color) and have long lasting power. I opened mine and left out to dry completely before placing the black plastic circle back for storage purposes, but I doubt that's necessary. They are only about an inch in diameter, so it's very easy to hide them in what youre using, if you want the glow but not the plastic look. The only thing that could be a down side for some people is that the package did not contain any information or directions. The functionality is pretty self-explanitory, but still it would be nice for SOME information.I would purchase these lights again if I ever needed more.Used to light up Halloween decorations and vases with flowers. Lights in vases were bright for a 5 days straight before I hade to throw out the flowers. Much better that I expected and great light production.I bought these five years ago and used them at my daughter's wedding. They were submerged in water with water beads and flowers for the reception. I left them in the water and took them home after and lined them up on my porch and patio. Many of them lasted for several days! A few days ago my husband discovered some of them that we had not used. He turned one on and it has been lit for 4 days now. It is still burning. For the price these are crazy good!!! In full discolsure there were a couple that didn't light up when I first started using them, but I may have twisted them too far to turn them on. I may use these at Christmas for decorations for parties and such.Ok, thank goodness I read previous reviews telling me that if the lights didn't work, I should remove the paper between the batteries. Once you unscrew the light and remove the paper, make sure the rubber gasket is properly placed. This will keep the tea light water tight. Just before I immersed the light, I "super" tightened it using a pair of pliers (which turns on the bulb, and keeps the water out) The initial two tea lights I used, burnt out in 4 hours. I think that was my fault for not tightening it up enough. The third tea light has now been on for an AMAZING 50 hrs. I thought that the first two tea lights were, perhaps, under too much water....not so. This last tea light has been submersed in 20" of water and is still on! I have to make 14 arrangements, and I will be using 2 tea lights in each vase. The one tea light does not give off enough light in this tall vase. I searched all over the internet, and this is the best price I've foundThese lights are great! Put them in mason jars filled with water, turn upside down & viola you have lights in the yard. True pink was brighter than the purple.Ninguna de las luces sirvió, incluso compré nuevas baterías y no iluminaban ni un poquito apenas podías ver que prendían.Buena opción para arreglos sumergibles aún no he probado la duración de la batería espero dure un evento completo (6hrs), la luminosidad es muy buena a pesar de su tamaño.Solo he utilizado uno de prueba, lo sumergi en un vaso y duro más de dos encendido. Compre los de luz blancaBought 12, some are not working; batteries dead. Lights are not flickering and tea lights not floating in water.
