My son wanted these & they were a lot of lights for a low price & It is A LOT of lights & a lot of ivy. So many lights that it is still tangled up lolThe fake ivy & lights are in separate strands & rolls. We ended up putting just 3 strings of ivy with the lights & putting it behind his headboard. It turned out nice. Not too bright. No remote or plug. Had to get three double A batteries. To control the lights there is one button on the plastic box that holds the batteries. You can push it to make the lights change from always on to different pulses. I usually don't like fake ivy but I ended up putting 2 of the strands in my own bedroom window & 1 over a picture in my room. There is still plenty of ivy strands left over.The lights broke the day I got them, they got tangled and while I was trying to untangle them the wire came out of the light and the whole light just shut off and broke, I will take the blame for that except for how easily the wire snapped, I didn’t use any strength whatsoever, but the vines are amazing and so cute!I love it so much it was a bit short for my whole thing but I love it either way. Only thing that sucked was the lights kept tangling into each other but if you find a way to keep it organized it’s easy, also the leafs were so Easy to take apart!!Very well made looks realistic, looks beautiful on top of my kitchen counterCame in a box and had to untangle a bit but nice finished product once I put it upTime consuming to put the ivy on my daughter’s bed (2 hours or so), but she loves the end result!!!The vines were great, and after reading reviews I am happy to say these did not have a smell and were easy hang.
