These lights are SO BRIGHT!!!!! I just bought a 2011 Ody and immediately replaced the interior lights with these. Literally night and day difference. These are so bright and have been working well for about a month now. EVEN IF some of these started failing over time... it would be worth it. Love the brightness! As the title mentioned; when starting the van the interior lights flicker greatly. This is just the nature of LED tech vs incandescent: LED's react fast to low voltage and actually noticeably turn off while incandescent bulbs have softer light and stay lit when the voltage dips. I found my voltage drops to 9 volts when the starter cranks - so I have another problem... NOT the lights! They just made me aware of the issue LOL
