Press one of the RGB buttons. For example, press red button if you want to DIY red color. Step 2: Press the DIY1 button (the lights will change to white color for the first time). Step 3: Press and hold (at least 5 seconds) green and blue down arrow buttons, the lights will start changing. If you need lighter red color, press and hold the red up button, the longer you hold, the lighter red color you have. You can also press green and blue down, the changing will be more clearly. Step 4: Keep the color you just set by pressing the DIY1 button again. Step 5: Repeat the steps above to set the rest of five DIYs. If you are looking to deck out your living room or bedroom with LEDs but need more color options, this LED remote is very easy to install as well as very nice in terms of color options. I always flash out the LEDs with different styles since the standard controller has less colorways to choose from. Highly recommend to purchase for more options and elasticity with the LED strip lights.Quite easy to install and to usegreat to have as a back up for the LED light kit, as sometimes these parts just go out. We use the lights in our trade show booths, and the controller allows us to change colors, patterns, and turn them on and off which is great for bringing people in.Great purchase for what I needed.
