I received my fountain this morning. I am a 71 year old woman and it took me about 30 minutes to unpack it, do the minimal assembly required, and get it set up in its new home. It is absolutely beautiful! I will upload a photo soon. It makes the most soothing babbling brook sound. I have not found anything about it not to like (except the price). Even though it is more expensive than many of the fountains Amazon offers, it is an absolutely beautiful work of art and looks as if it could be considerably more expensive.This is not your typical little backyard fountain - this one is really large! I love the tinkling sound of the water, and because it's solar powered, you can put it in the middle of your garden without having to worry about where you're going to plug it in. VERY impressive, and a great purchase! If you like water features, this one is for you.This is a beautiful outdoor fountain that I have on my front porch. It was devliered without incident and the packaging was supreme and with a ton of styrofoam. Just follow the instructions for solar use and add 3 gallons of water and you are off to the races. I like everything about this fountain except for the battery life. I wanted to be able to run this 24/7 on a battery since I don't have an outlet near its location. However, the included solar/battery setup will not allow that. You'll get most of the day, but not all of it. I would recommend the manufacturer take a look at this and either make the battery bigger or include a programable timer so I can run it at the times of the day I want, especially at this price point. Still, I can recommend.This item came quickly and packaged very well. Nothing was broken or damaged upon arrival. The fountain is very beautiful and the lights work great. I have it outside near my pool screen opening and it was such a nice addition to my walkway. But after about a month or so the pump started making a very loud noise and stopped working. I unplugged it and cleaned it out thinking something got jammed in the pump, unfortunately the pump wouldn’t turn back on and just kept making the loud sound. Doesn’t seem like this is a problem for others so i still think this is a good buy.I love water features and have several of them around the house including a waterfall and several columnar jointed stones that are 45 inches tall. So, when this one became available, I could not wait to order it and put it on my front porch. Here is what i found when it arrived:1. I was surprised by the light weight of this entire unit, 44 pounds shipping weight! One of my stone ponds in the back yard weighs four times that amount for a single stone pond. So, it is easy to move, even with water in it. Just take your time and having a friend around to lend a hand always makes it easier!2. The pump is very small. The shell slides off to allow for cleaning. The lED lights are already in place, but you may need to push them in to seat them completely. The tubing for the pump is run and ready to connect to the pump. The solar cell also has a battery compartment. You need to plug the battery compartment wire into the solar panel wire. Leave the power switch OFF until you are ready to run the unit. That means placed and having it already filled with 3 gallons of water. You then connect the power cord from the solar panel (long cord) to the water pump. The two short cords connect to the lights from the long cord on the solar panel. At this point, your wiring and plumbing are complete.3. You next place the unit where you want it. Keep in mind that water can splash, so do not put this where any water could cause a problem. Pets may want to use this as a fountain and that can cause some water splashes. Also, keep in mind the limit for water because if you over fill it the water will run out the back of the unit onto the floor.4. Now that you have it placed, wired, and full of water, the time has arrived to turn it on. Move the switch on the solar panel to on. It can take 5 minutes for the water to begin flowing. Just go have a cut of coffee and come back. Time passes faster that way. Once you come back, you should find the water running and the lights in the two pools on. The moving water causes the light to appear to move in the water and the reflected light on walls also moves.5. Always check the water level in the fountain as you fill it to ensure you do not over fill it. I prefer putting the unit on the front porch so that if I put in too much water it is not an issue. Even in 106 degree weather out of direct sun, the water only needs an addition every 5th day for my location.6. A comment on pricing. A quality fountain can easily cost you several thousand dollars. The least expensive fountain I have is one that I made myself and even it cost me over $300. So, for the quality and ease of installation and maintenance that his one offers, I find th price to be reasonable and less than you will find in garden stores and many box stores. Just my two cents worth there after doing this for several years.This is definately a five star fountain in my book and I would recommend it if the styling fits your location.This Alpine Corporation TZL258SLR-WT Solar Cascading Vase Outdoor Fountain, Stone is a very well made, and impressive product that looks like something out of a museum.My first impression was of how well packaged this was, it is very securely packaged in a gigantic box that delivered this fountain in perfect condition to my front door. Setup was straight-forward, with the only issue being figuring out where to place the solar portion of this fountain, but once that was resolved this thing started right up.The fountain is very calming and helps me center my chi during meditation. One thing I wish was improved was how small the battery is here, even at full charge once the sun goes down the amount of time this can go is probably 3-4 hours. Another glaring issue is the price. I feel this is a lot to spend on a fountain and I think with the current issues facing society as a whole, this feels like an excessively frivolous item and misses the mark.Overall, I feel like this is a great fountain that looks very impressive and does a great job of giving me some relaxation at the end of a long day, but the price and limited battery keep this from being a 5 star. 4/5 stars.
