My townhouse’s pathway lights died after giving previous owners and me 35 years of loyal service. My initial plan was to replace them with similar lights, but I was discouraged by the expense and time required to do that; besides, the electricians I approached were reluctant to take on the project, even after I said I would dig the trenches for the conduits.Solar pathway lights seemed like a good option until I saw the cheap plastic ones for sale locally. So I went online and found XMCOSY solar pathway lights. I ordered six lights and have been very happy with my purchase. The lights are well made and attractive. My neighbors have commented positively on their appearance. Once their pathway lights—also 35 years old—go to the great beyond, or the nearest landfill, I’m sure they will replace them with XMCOSY solar pathway lights; in fact, since I sleep with the HOA president, I’m sure they will.After about two months, one of the solar pathway lights malfunctioned (it remained on during the day). I emailed XMCOSY, received a response that same day, and yesterday I received a replacement light. Needless to say, but I will anyway, that’s excellent customer service!Compared to other solar lights that I have purchased previously from a different manufacturer, these solar lights have metal (vs. plastic) stakes at the end. My soil is hard clay, and I was able to drive these into the ground with a rubber mallet without breaking the stakes.One out of 4 lights did not work. Not sure what the issue was as I could tell that the bulb inside the lamp was intact. (The lamps were packaged very well.). I contacted customer service via email, and requested one new lamp to replace the defective one. I received a very prompt response, and to my surprise, received another email shortly thereafter, with the tracking number for a whole new set of, not one, but 4 solar lights. I really appreciated this incredibly thoughtful response to my issue.We did just have an early rainstorm in California, and I was happy to say that my solar lights are still shining cheerfully on without any issues.Last till dawn in NE area = good. satisfied with the amount of light and charge on not-so-sunny days. I was going to order more but each time the price is up more, (I believe there is an algorithm watching and raises the prices if you bought before*?) I will be waiting for price to go back down or simply Not buy again....I rarely like to take time to write a review. However, since I am also looking at reviews before I purchase a product, I decided to write a review for these cute solar walkway path lights. They are so pretty and sturdy. Not to mention how strong the light is and the design it brings into the path. I fully recommend them to purchase.My old units had plastic bases which eventually did not stand up to the kids, mowers, and neighborhood dogs. Got these units in and they were frankly amazing to look at, and extremely well built. They have been in place along the front walk for about a month now and I've been extremely happy. I have them on turned all the way up (I live in texas, so everyone in the neighborhood has long pathways, lighting on the soffits, etc.) and they are really bright. The pattern is also such a nice effect (I still find myself just walking out there to look at the lights).I was originally thinking I may need to upgrade the batteries to be running them all night long on max, but they are holding up with the stock cells. It might be the Texas Panhandle sun, but I've gone through 2 full nights, and a heavily stormy day in between, without running out of power.Brought inside during hurricane Ian instead of candles ... our power was out for 3 days - these solar lights worked perfectly - just recharged the during the day.Love the copper color very unique! Love all the metal & glass! Third box I ordered had a broken piece of plastic that holds the glass n place so I can't use unless tge glue holds.I like the customer service and the product I don't have discrepancies from the item I bought perfect item and the color is nice I can control brightness too. Good quality solar light. Thank you.
