I read the reviews and made sure that I put on the narrow eye before installing this. It comes on half an hour before the daylight is gone, and once it is dark it lights up a fifty foot radius out from the porch. It is like daylight around our house entrance which is nice for someone who can't see well at all in the dark. I'm hoping that this last longer than our previous light that I paid more for, but only got two years of use out of it! Very happy with my purchase, and would gladly purchase again!Installation tip: Do NOT install the foam ring. It makes it impossible to put against the wiring housing on the house. I had to rip it completely off because I could not get the main screw into the hole with it on.We needed a new security light and there are far too many to pick from. I decided to give this one a try, as it has all the features I was looking for. Installation was easy.It is a lot brighter than I expected, which is a very good thing. The light that this replaced was much dimmer so now we can light up a huge part of our yard. I’m thinking about getting another one for the other side of our yard.Super bright. The light turns itself off with the clear photo cell cover. When changed to the dark shielded cover it stays on until well after sunrise. At least they gave that option.It was super easy to install. I have bought many lights , solar , led floodlights before but this one is super bright! 5500 lums My neighbor two doors down wants one now and if they install there's nothing is hiding in shadows!. Bad things happen on a dark street but not mine.If you want a nice security light, get this ! Super beightThis light is BRIGHT. Lights up a 60ft x 140 ft yard like daylight.Easy install for my first electrical project. Only down side I have found is when mounting to a wall, the 2 side lights hit the building , when angled out . Will be ordering an outlet box extension to solve that problem easily.Fantastic lights. Super easy to install with more than enough cable slack. Lights up almost our entire acre around the house. Light is super bright but the range of motion on each light makes it easy to light up what you need, doesn't go into any of my 3 neighbors yards. Get them!Apparently they fixed the short wire problem. Had plenty of wire so install was easy. Photocell takes about 5-10 seconds to switch on and off. Not an issue unless you're trying to troubleshoot why it isn't working.
