OK, these LED could work, but they were quite far away from the advertisement. They never worth the money you paid for. Before purchasing, I did quite some research and believed in the seller’s advertisement: brighter, longer lifetime, and less power consumption. Yes, they were the most expensive interior LEDs for Equinox compared to other sellers, but the quality was as poor as it could be. There was no heat sink, no control electronics inside, but just 5 LEDs soldered on a PCB. That’s it! The worst thing is, the PCB was not even glued to the base! If you grab the head during installation, they could easily fall apart. If you are looking for LEDs for your Equinox, go and buy some cheaper ones from other sellers. I believe the cheaper ones would not have worse quality, because these are already the bottom line. I attached a photo of one of the LEDs. It costs more than $2 on an average, but I think it could hardly worth more than 20 cents. Plus, you will get four more LEDs you do not need, because those will not fit the bulbs on the sunshade panel. I accept spare parts, but I do not accept so many 'spare parts'.Updated Feb. 24, 2016: OK, now I know why they gave me so many spares. It has been two days since I put them on. The one on the license plate has already gone out and need a replacement.Updated Mar. 9, 2016: Another bulb started to flicker, I had to replace that one. Now, there were only 3 spares.Updated Mar. 10, 2016: The left one on the license plate went out, AGAIN. Because there was no heat sink, they could go out very quickly from overheating as I initially expected.Updated Mar. 16, 2016: The license plate bulb has gone for the fourth time! This is the product supported by a so called experienced team in California, USA.Absolutely fantastic. Came with seven bulbs, 5 for the interior and 2 for the tags....all the bulbs work great and really give my car a great look....would buy againEdit: 7 months later....I had one of the lights go out on me today. Going to replace then with the OEMs till I can get more LEDs. The light is still on but is so dim that it no longer illuminates the tag.Edit again: 3 years later and none of the lights work....they are started to fail gradually with 1 or more of the leds going out, then strobing, and now all the the bulbs have had at least half the leds fail to the point where they need to be replaced. I can't say I recommend these anymore.Exactly as pictured in the item review. I was able to install all of the bulbs in less than 10 minutes with a small flathead screw driver to pop off the covers. The inside looks like a new car. Great deal.I got these and love the way they illuminate my cabin. I have 2 extra ones for the license plate area but don't know how to install them...I'll eventually get it done tho.After realizing that I simply had to flip them to plug and they worked I am totally satisfied. Not only does they brighten the interior, but makes for a more personal touch. I initially ordered this four bulb set, but just ordered the additional two for my interior.Love my interior lights now.
