These pumpkin lights are 'just okay,' in my opinion. They look festive enough, work well, and even include a remote control and timer functions. But, since my family is planning on using these to light up our carved pumpkins, they're too expensive and not significantly better than ordinary candles or small tea lights.► In the Box:→ Two (2) pumpkin lights→ Remote control→ Instruction booklet► Operation:Each light requires three (3) AAA batteries, which are not included. The small remote already includes an installed battery.The lights can be operated with or without the remote by simply pressing the top (white part) down to turn them on/off.The remote features timer functions, 2, 4, 6, and 8-hour increments. You can also toggle between a persistent light or candle flicker mode. Finally, you can dim or brighten the light from the remote.These worked out well for the area I have them in. If you are going for a larger visual effect for say a party or something you will need to purchase a couple more to pull it off.Cute little candles/lights. No batteries included, so be prepared.They're small, but festive and work very well.Overall pleased with these. We have them in the office lobby and they definitely look cute!I wasn’t sure if 1 would be enough because two battery tea lights weren’t doing the job, so I was glad to get a two-pack. Turns out one is perfect!It flickers naturally and has a warm glow. The underside has a little loop if you wanted to hang it. The remote is handy, don’t lose it… It’s the only way to control the brightness and if it flickers or is set on solid light and most importantly the timer.So now I have an extra light for another pumpkin or something creepy outside!It’s still a few weeks until Halloween at the time of writing this. I’ll update my review and rating if it stops working before then. If there’s no update, then it worked flawlessly for the entire Halloween season, and it’s packed up for next year and so on!Using in two jack-o-lanterns on a covered porch. Used for four nights so far. Timer has reliably turn lights on and off each night. Once programmed they follow the schedule you select. Powered with new rechargable batteries - no issues so far. They are not waterproof so they are in clear plastic bags. Had first thunderstorm last night and no water problems.Great for short term use. For longer usage would have chosen units that are usb charged.I love these that I bought 4
