Bought this before Xmas when I couldn't find a wax red 6" pillar candle. Glad I bought it because there is no live flame, no wax drip. Love it because it came with a remote! Very nice.This was bought as a replacement for an outdoor wreath with attached candle stand. It's not the most realistic looking (up close) compared to other flickering candles, but is still quite attractive. The timer works perfectly even during extremely cold northeast winters when placed in a sheltered location. This candle is bright red. Compared to other candles of similar quality the price is very reasonable.It is exactly as I hoped. It has a remote control and two functions for the flame.I love the color and the size. Only wish it came with batteries but I can deal with that. The remote did have a battery in it. I would buy it again.While it worked it was so pretty: the flame is great, it had a timer, and was very realistic. but now it won't work- I tried 3 sets of new batteries, which then were fine in other candles.These candles are bright and so far have held up beautifully. They are on a built in bookcase, on every evening for 5 hours. Work great. Would definitely buy them again.Memorialize wife and motherVery good quality. From distance, and even at close inspection if you do not know is fake is quite realistic and looks quite pretty without the mess or safety hazards of a real candle. it was a nice focus point in my mantlepiece this Xmas. It also has a timer option which is quite handy. In all very happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend.As I mentioned in my earlier review, having bought the first one, this is my second purchase as I was so pleased with the first. Not disappointed with this one either as it stands in another part of the house.
