I waited a month to review on account of the some bad reviews that I read and ours are still working great. The brightness is like any string light. We strung ours up on the porch, which is enclosed, so I believe that's helped them to last longer even though they are exterior graded.I LOVE LOVE LOVE these lights!!! Beautiful golden colour provides just enough accent lighting without being overbearing. I have them on 3 curly Willow trees that are right at the top of the stairs leading up to my deck garden. I should mention that 2 of these trees each have 2 sets of lights, the tree on the left side of the picture only has 1. I also bought the Palm tree lights from the same company that are seen in the 3rd picture… I love these just as much. No complaints at all! Price is reasonable for these novelty lights.The quality and cost.These lights are very study and thick. They are for our shared "yard bar". One strand is weaved on our side, the other strand is on our neighbor's side. I only wish the cords were brown or green to match the lights, and not so white. I anticipate these lights lasting through at least two midwest winters, because we don't take them inside normally for the winter. I'll take a photo and then update this week.I love these lights, for the money I paid, they are AWESOME!!Perfect for the patio, very charming and mesmerizingUsed these less then 10 times 2 sets have stopped working.It did not come with a remote control.One of the trees was snapped in half job arrival. We were able to glue it...They are really cute.
