I’m overall happy with the purchase, enough to order more but it does have room for improvement. For starters the remote doesn’t work all too well, and the battery compartment has to be set and twisted just right or else it won’t work at all. As far as setting it up it’s pretty straight forward, but very easy to get tangled up. The different settings are a nice touch and the brightness in daylight is quite good.Purchased for a Christmas in July event. Lights were a lot dimmer than I expected. You could see them at night when it was completely dark, but not before. Lights were also much smaller. Remote control did not work at all, but I was able to control with the switch on the battery case.These were a perfect addition to our back patio bar area. Great values and look greatThey have a little hook which could be helpful for hanging, and I like that they are battery operated, but I was very disappointed with them being yellow, not white.Beautiful soft light , easy to use , good value for the money ! Will be purchasing more !These work great! I am using them for my wedding so I went ahead and put them up in my bedroom to get stretched out. They create a soft ambient light, not enough to see very well. I also hav white christmas lights in my room and when I turned them on, I noticed how much brightwr they were. These are small LED lights with small tips, not as long as a traditional christmas light. The dimmer works well, but there isn't a very large variation in brightness. I don't know what I expected but it wasn't as noticeable as I thought. I has 10 levels of brightness. The lights blinks off when you switch to a different brightness, something I'm glad to know before my wedding if I decide to have them brighter or dimmer at certain points of the night. It's not like a dial, when you think of a house dimmer. You have to push right in the middle of the remote buttons to get them to work. I used my fingernail because sometimes it took a few tries.I love that it has multpile settings to choose from. I wish it had a constant twinkle on 1 because it's so pretty. It switches between different twinkles on 1 and 2. Button 7 is seizure mode.Make sure you don't lose the remote because you can't turn it on from the battery pack on the lights themselves.I had high hopes when I ordered these. Even though the price was a bit steep for Christmas lights. Each string was bundle up and not too difficult to unravel and hang. But as I set them up and when I used them, the more I discovered they were not meeting my expectations. Here's why:These are listed as IP44. Meaning they should be as OK as most Christmas lights an able to withstand most expected weather, like rain or snow. But reading the description carefully, it says they are NOT waterproof, and the control box should not be exposed to moisture. Well, you're only given a 4 or 5 foot lead, with no way to extend it. So no possibility of adding an extension. In my case, it meant hanging it under the eaves in a plastic bag, making it difficult to change the settings.This brings up problem #2. You have a curtain of lights that are not, and not expected to be, controlled individually. But with eight advertised modes, I expected something more. What do you get? You get 24 strings, with each string containing 25 lights. What one light does in a string, all lights in the string do. So no waterfall effects. No patterns. Either the string is on or off. Then the strings are divided into two groups. Odd number strings and even numbered strings. So what string #1 does, all odd numbered strings do. So the 8 possible effects are which group of lights are lit (odd, even, or all), and how quickly or how long they are lit (blinking, fade, or on). You end up with limited effects which, to me, are more determined by how quickly they can induce a seizure. Which brings up problem #3.A single button is used to cycle through the 8 choices which are printed on the control box and almost impossible to read. Especially if you're standing on a ladder in the dark. And you're never really sure which mode you've selected until you wait a few seconds to watch them. And even then, and this becomes the deal killer, they don't seem to stay on the same mode continuously. Eventually they all go back to cycling through all the modes. So, I couldn't seem to leave it on a curtain of flickering lights. And the modes where it lights the odd and even strings alternately are positively yawn inducing.Add to that the strings are 6-8" apart, not the few inches they appear to be in the pictures, and you have an expensive disappointment.On the positive side, they are LED lights, and appear to be well made. So maybe in the hands of a creative person, and used indoors, one could create an interesting display. But stringing them in a curtain outside right out of the box doesn't do it.If you are buying these with the expectation of impressing the neighbors, think again. Mine were quickly replaced with a $10 string of icicle lightsUsed today for a party. Lights have a lot of cool functions u can change using the remote. I was pleasantly surprised with how great they looked. I plan on wrapping each strand back up again because they got a little tangled upon set up. But my fault.I purchased three sets of these lights for my wedding. We got married outside and had a metal arbour to decorate. The plan was to have one set of string lights each on three sides of the arbour (front and two sides).We tested them September 7th as soon as they arrived. Everything worked fine. Very pretty. Changes to all flickering options. We tested them again October 2nd, still all working great. Wedding day came October 6th, and one set won’t work. We changed the batteries, swapped battery consoles, nothing. Completely dead. Could only put lights up on the back of the arbour now, no sides. Por lo visto otros comentarios también fueron estafados más personas que también esperaban un producto de 3x6 metros y recibimos 3x3bonita cortina para decorar el hogar o para un evento especial, gracias a que es de pilas se puede colocar en cualquier espacio sin necesidad de tener un toma corriente cercano.recu avant la date, tout va a merveille, accrocher sur le mur de chambre de mes filles maintenant c'est leur endroit préféré pour relaxer et jaser entre amies
