I take my lifted F150 offroading and hunting a lot and have been needing more backup lighting. I have tried a lot of mounting options for other style lights and most end up being caked with mud or damaged my obstacles or debris. I've been seeing more and more of Rigid flush mount lights on prerunner type trucks and not having the wallet to support decking my truck out with Rigid brand lights I turned to these. These lights are built nice and heavy like Rigid, they are sealed very well. I may or may not have left one plugged into a battery and left in a 5 gallon bucket of water for a day with no water intrusion. They do not come with a cutting template so I borrowed one from Rigid and it worked well. The wire leads are bare so you'll have to solder them or buy electrical plugs separately. Light output is amazing and I feel on par with Rigid.I got these to mount in the rear bumper of my Jeep to use as backup lights. The dark tint on my hardtop and the large spare tire make backing up very difficult in dark areas. So far, I'm really impressed with these lights. The quality feels really solid and they are definitely bright enough for me to see behind me now. There was no cutting template with these, but I made one myself and they fit without any issues. The housing is sturdy metal and seems to be sealed well, but as a precaution I added a small bead of silicone around the lens and the back area where the faceplate joins light body. I wired them to my Spod, so now I just hit the switch and it's like daylight behind me. I imagine this will also come in handy if someone is tailgating me at night. Also, SUPER FAST SHIPPING! I ordered these at 6pm on a Friday and they arrived in the mail Monday morning!I really, really tried to make them work for my application. But, my boneheadedness prevented it. I'd planned to flush mount these in my rear bumper, however I didn't realize that there is a support bracket right behind the hole I was planning to cut. So, they were a no go. And I learned a valuable lesson...However, they're bright, bright bright and throw a lot of light. I swapped these with a buddy for the pedestal mounted versions which I mounted below the bumper around my receiver.I have no complaints about these lights at all.Amazing lights for the price . Wanted to wait a while before reviewing but they have been on my truck for almost 9 months now and have held up to the elements and abuse I put them through . Before instilling I removed the face plate and put some clear silicone for extra seal. Also painted the face plates . Through -40 F temperatures , water , snow, mud, ice, and dust they have held up strong. Also very bright. Reverse lights shine about 2 blocks which is more then satisfactory as far as reverse lights go. Would recommend!!These are great lights. i had them installed on my running boards for side flood lights. i've been through water, mud and everything else; they never had a problem. They are as bright as my buddy's name brand pods. They look the same as when i bought them over a year ago with no yellowing or condensation in the lense. great productI ordered 2 sets. They came in surprisingly quick. Easy to install. East to wire. Overall they work great. Two of them just seem to lack a bit of power compaired to the other two. And when they came in i noticed three of them are spots and one is a flood. But its hard to tell when there side by side.Fast shipping everything seemed to work have not fully installedThey work, lens aren't great, but they work well for my intended use. Reverse lights on a flatbed. For the price I would purchase again
