This item was bought as a gift for my grandsonItem arrived early and well packaged. Quality of the car is OK at best but considering the price it might be OK. The car will likely be outgrown before my nephew is 2 and can drive it on his own. My biggest disappointment is that it is very slow, barely keeps up with me on a walk. this is a 6 volt model so perhaps the 12 volt would be faster.I recently just bought this car for my sons birthday. While assembling the car I noticed a puddle of blue fluid next to the batter. Is this car safe to operate? Is this a faulty battery? And how do I got about resolving this issue?The car looked awesome, but the assembly quality is lacking because their is no quality control.1. The 3/8" rod for all wheels are too long. The nut won't tighten down. The only way to take the play out of the wheel is to buy extra washers which they call "gasket" for some reason on their sheet. A bag of ten washers took care of the issue.2. The bolt wouldn't fit through the hole on the steering wheel tube in order to attach the steering wheel. I had to drill out the hole in order to get the bolt to fit.3. The battery was loose and the remote controller receiver is only held by one small screw because there is no place to mount the other screw.
