11/13/21 updateI wanted to give them credit where credit is due. The three remaining are still working after almost a year. The others were either torn up or eaten by trees that they were wrapped around or cut while pruning the bushes (ugh!!!).The three remaining weren't staying lit over the summer. So, I thought maybe the Arizona sun killed them. But I just got around to opening it up to change the batteries. That seemed to do the trick, and they are working again! Note that the replacement they sent me had stripped screws, and they sent me another replacement after I contacted them again.A couple things to note about these lights as compared to other brands that I tried. Many of the brands seem to come in the same looking box, so I assumed that they were all made in the same way. The circuitry is pretty simple. This brand (OZS) has the lowest failure rate in my experience.This brand (OZS) has a thin rubber gasket around the edge of the opening. The other brand did not.This brand (OZS) provided an extra battery. The other brand did not.The brand (OZS) has an extra diode or resistor or something in the circuitry that the other brand did not.Issues that I've had with the other brand include some thin/poor soldering, so I tried taping the connection together. The lights won't turn off, so the batteries burn out--haven't figured out if and how to fix this.I'm kind of obsessed with solar fairy lights (when they work) because I love the way they look and that they are powered by the sun....---------------------------We ordered seven sets for before the holidays last year, wrapped them around trees and bushes. They are all still working, except one set that doesn't always light up by itself. With sunlight most of the day, the lights last all night. Seeing the lights at night brighten my mood, so I'm just going to leave them up until they stop working. The seller replaced the set that doesn't light up by itself--good service too.
