They worked for my rope lights. When they arrived they looked super small compared to the girth of the rope lights. However, the lights did snap in nicely. I have them mounted with the brackets under the rope and on the side going down the stairs of the deck. Holds well. They are plastic so if you expect them to last for years and years then I’m guessing you haven’t hung Christmas lights in a while. Best to buy 2-3 packs for future replacements if you want the height of the rope lights to stay the same or just look cleanly installed. $8 is overpriced but it is what it is; thanks JB ?
