These solar lights are fabulous! We wrapped (3) 100' strings around a tree in the back yard and it looks wonderful. I just ordered (2) more so we can finish the last two main branches. What's really great is the solar battery is detachable so I can move it out of the tree's shade to fully charge in the sunlight, then plug it back in and the lights stay lit from dawn to dusk! Two tips if you're wrapping trees, we unwound the entire wire, then wrapped it back up around a small plastic bottle starting with the battery end. This allowed us to start at the top of the tree branch and easily wrap down to the bottom so the solar battery was within easy reach. Also, keep in mind, the lights will need to be 'rewrapped' each year as the tree grows to avoid damage to either. Love, love, love these lights!!These lights will be great for cash decorating there are many lights and they are very brightAt first I was a little thrown off by how small and spread apart the lights on the string was but I said what the hell ill put them up and see how they are. And I love them! They line our stairs and retaining wall outside and they’re just the right brightness. I do agree with other reviewers that as you put them up the whole roll gets super tangled. I spent a good half hour untangling them and rerolling. But it was worth it. I’ve had them up outside for almost three months now and have had no issues (this is in the northeast so cold, rainy, snow, ice is all involved).The wire its self is like a grocery store twisty tie and the wire gets bare very easy. a few of the plugs went bad last year on sets and the material they are made of tangles very easy. I bought 910 strands for my roof at Christmas and only 3 survived the season and it was a mild winter.We set these up for Xmas this year and were very happy with them. The strand is extremely long and you need to be careful not to kink it. Unraveling was a bit of a pain, but to be expected. We were able to light our porch, a large bush and a tree all with this one strand. The lights survived the winter with lots of rain, so they were waterproof. Our house looked great.Bright colors and remote works well… can tangle up very easily but gray purchase and added great lights for HalloweenLights were perfect for our house. Bright in color and easy to put up. Can’t see the light strand during the day from a far. Def would buy more for decorating the trees and fencesFirst I love that they are set on a green wire. I am using them on a small garden tree. Since they are solar I don't need to worry if they are close to an outlet. I also love that I can change the setting and timer right from my front door. I don't have to go out to the garden and find the control on the box. Again because they are on a green wire they blend in perfect on the tree and so the lights actually twinkle like fairy lights.
