Not even slightly waterproof, or durable. Do not use in exterior applications or any time it will be subject to vibration. Its a square led panel held onto the thin plastic base with only the two wires. The solder holding the wires to the led cannot take being stressed more than once or twice.I used these to switch several of the dash and interior light bulbs on a w123 chassis 300d over to led. They worked great for the instrument cluster, where they stick out into a cavity while being held by the bottoms. On the center panel they snap into a holder by the top of the bulbs, in which case these will not work because the square led is a bit larger than the original bulbs.These are great for interior applications where the bulb is held firmly and you don't have to worry about the durability of the bulb.Only 4 stars cuz when I was installing, 4 broke. The heads came off. It does not have a dimmer function. Not compatible with any flash functions like turn signal.light is white with no blue hue. Shipping was pretty quick.really really cheap made and packaging was terribleI bought tyese because i thought my lights were bad. Turned out they weren't and it was a different problem. However, without taking the original color tint off the instrument panel these will appear dim.
